I didn’t have a very rational approach to the task at hand ... it took me long between receiving the file and finding the time necessary to create something. When I did, I started to improvise until I found something that I liked. The percussion inspired me to feed from the Brazilian rhythmic universe... I used my seven string guitar which helps to set the mood of Brazilianness. I really like the interlude, it is simple and reminds me of what Edson and I used to listen to in our teen years and keeps the focal point on the Brazilian flavor. I'm happy with the musical results ... and very curious to see the final result!
