A Native of São Paulo, Brazil, I completed my undergrad studies in São Paulo and soon after moved to Los Angeles to pursue two Master's degrees in Percussion and Composition from CALARTS. I spent the next 16 years living in Los Angeles working as a musician as well as touring the United States and internationally.
Most recently, I won a Grammy with the band Quetzal for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative album Imaginaries.
I now live in a quiet, small town in the mountains of Utah where I enjoy the company of my wife and our dog Pinga.
