Born in 1964 Tokyo. While studying at collage in Japan started to play electric bass for many prominent Japanese pop stars. In 1990 move to New York and study acoustic bass. Currently he is performing at many Jazz venues in NYC area. Also performed with R & B musicians as well as Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Supremes. Many recording session over the file transfer. Teaching bass at Third Street music settlement (NYC).
I met this fretless bass almost 30 years ago, since then this is my voice. Played many kind of style acoustic/electric different basses but when I listen to organic music like this, I have to use my naked voice. This recording take me back to where I came from.
