Mick Taras has been a working musician since the young age of 18. He learned about the music business immediately, on his first major professional guitarist role, with the fine band, "Joe Perrino and the Mellowtones". His career fully developed in California, where he moved at the age of 25. After attending the "Musician Institute of Technology" in Hollywood, he built his music career with hard work, humility, and patience. The music scene in Los Angeles is so competitive that he had to learn fast: in order to make a good living as a musician, it takes more than just great talent. It takes the right attitude. Nick consistently strives for total excellence in every song, and reliably delivers just the right sound desired of him, by the music/entertainment industry management professionals he works for.
I could not pass up this rare opportunity to be a part of a collective creative process that involves such great musicians like Tony Guerrero, Robert Kyle. Edson has managed to put in motion something that allows musicians to draw on a white canvas, all at once. I have done thousands of recording sessions in my life but this one stood apart from them all. Honored to be a part of it. Can't wait to hear the final version of it.
