Hi, the sample bellow shows the "spark" I sent out into the world :0)

Robert Kyle

GI1-3-1 • Instrument: Tenor Sax

This was so different because I had to TRY to resist the temptation to take all the space and send back a "complete" track. I chose to hear and record this one using an E7 tonality. The drums are so pitched & sustaining, that I often chose to use more staccato attacks and shorter phrases.

Tony Guerrero

GI1-3-2 • Instrument: Trumpet

I was intrigued by Edson's desire to create a piece of music that was composed by multiple musicians but without any boundaries set. I sat with the track in my home studio and just enjoyed playing freely off the limited parts I was hearing (since my track was early on in the process) and am thoroughly intrigued to hear what other musicians, most of whom I'll probably never meet, will add. How will they respond, musically, to what I played? How different will it be from what was in my head at the moment I was playing? Very fun. In a world of pre-programmed, cookie-cutter music, projects like this are a breath of fresh air!

Mick Taras

GI1-3-3 • Instrument: Guitar

I could not pass up this rare opportunity to be a part of a collective creative process that involves such great musicians like Tony Guerrero, Robert Kyle. Edson has managed to put in motion something that allows musicians to draw on a white canvas, all at once. I have done thousands of recording sessions in my life but this one stood apart from them all. Honored to be a part of it. Can't wait to hear the final version of it.
